This assessment was completed as a Banking with the Poor Network (BWTP Network) activity to provide an overview of the microfinance sectors in which the BWTP Network operates. It extends beyond the performance of individual institutions to focus on the development of the microfinance market as a whole by being both descriptive and analytical in nature.
