This paper was prepared at the invitation of the Thai APEC Study Centre in Bangkok. It reviews the outcomes of the APEC process in 2002 affecting microenterprise development (MED) and microbanking. It also looks forward to prospects for further progress under Thailand as chair of the APEC process in 2003.
